Sometimes MLXchange for iPad users need to upload photos from their iPad to their MLXchange service.
Since the iPad doesn’t really have a built-in way to share files, we can’t really share that directly to MLXchange using our app.
What I have done in the past is to transfer files to my Mac desktop or laptop computer, then share them to the MLXchange server.
You create a directory on the desktop and save all the images there, then when you have a chance to hook up to MLXchange on your iPad, while waiting for a client, you can upload all the files to MLXchange.
I don’t use it much for transferring files, but there is a setting for sharing files that has to be set on your Mac OSX software.
I upgraded to Mountain Lion last year, and started using Cord on my MacBook. http://cord.sourceforge.net
I have really liked using Cord to connect to my remote windows desktop.
I just right click on my account info in the left window and click on the “show inspector”.
Then on the “inspector” I make sure the “forward disks” has a check mark then I can restart, my connection to the server, and I have access to all of my files on my computer.
If you also select “forward” printers, then you can print right to your printer. I love being able to do that. Printing while I am using my Macbook and the Windows cloud is sweet.
So if you need a way to transfer images directly to the server from the iPad using the PocketCloud Pro App, I don’t know of a good way to do that. But if you can get them to your Windows account on the cloud, you can upload them into MLXchange pretty easily.
